Every Broward city qualifies
Broward is one of our three service counties, along with Miami-Dade and Palm Beach. If you live in Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, Davie, Coral Springs, Pompano Beach, Tamarac, Plantation, Miramar, Sunrise, Lauderhill, Weston or any other Broward city, you meet the residence requirement.
With the car you can work all three counties, so a trip that starts in Miramar and ends in Miami or Boca Raton is no problem. Taking the car outside Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach needs our OK first.
Pickup in Fort Lauderdale: approximate drive times
All rentals start at our one location, 800 E Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301, in downtown Fort Lauderdale. From most of the county it is a quick trip on I-95, I-595 or the Turnpike.
| City | Approximate drive to pickup |
|---|---|
| Plantation | About 15–25 min |
| Hollywood | About 15–25 min |
| Pompano Beach | About 20–30 min |
| Davie | About 20–30 min |

Approximate drive times to 800 E Broward Blvd via I-95 or the Turnpike. Can be much longer depending on traffic.
Because the drive is short, you can get dropped off, sign, and be back home and online the same afternoon. Call or text (305) 788-9532 before you come so we can make sure the car you want is ready.
Driving for Uber and Lyft across Broward
Broward sits in the middle of South Florida, so rides often cross county lines in both directions. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Port Everglades bring travelers with luggage, and the beaches from Hollywood to Pompano draw riders on weekends and evenings.
For everyday UberX, Lyft and delivery work in the western suburbs, an Economy or Standard sedan like the Nissan Sentra or Honda Civic keeps gas costs down. If you want airport and cruise riders with bags, a bigger car such as the 7-seat Kia Carnival or Acura MDX gives you room. Each app decides which ride types a car qualifies for, so check its current vehicle rules.
You can drive every app at the same time, so switching from Uber to DoorDash or Instacart when rides slow down in Coral Springs or Tamarac is up to you.

Weekly prices, no deposit
Prices include commercial insurance, maintenance and repairs for normal wear and tear, and roadside assistance. Gas is not included. At pickup you pay your first week and a one-time $100 license verification fee. There is no security deposit and no traditional credit check. Here is the full cost breakdown.
