Palm Beach County residents are eligible

We rent to drivers who live in Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach County. That includes West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Boynton Beach, Jupiter, Wellington, Palm Beach Gardens and every other city in the county. If your home address is in Palm Beach County, you meet the residence requirement.

Once you have the car, you can work anywhere in the three counties: all of Palm Beach, plus Broward and Miami-Dade when the trips take you south. Taking the car outside those counties needs our OK first.

Pickup is in Fort Lauderdale: approximate drive times

We have one location, at 800 E Broward Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. There is no Palm Beach office, so every rental starts there. From most of the county it is a straight run south on I-95 or the Turnpike.

CityApproximate drive to pickup
Boca RatonAbout 30–40 min
Delray BeachAbout 40–50 min
Boynton BeachAbout 45–55 min
Lake Worth BeachAbout 50–60 min
West Palm BeachAbout 50–70 min

Approximate drive times to 800 E Broward Blvd via I-95 or the Turnpike. Can be much longer depending on traffic.

On pickup day, get a ride down, sign, and drive your rental home. Call or text (305) 788-9532 before you leave to make sure the car you want is ready, since availability changes daily.

Driving for Uber and Lyft in Palm Beach County

Palm Beach County is spread out. Trips between Boca Raton, Delray Beach and West Palm Beach run longer than a typical city ride, and Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) brings steady airport pickups and drop-offs. Seasonal visitors and events can also change how busy the county gets through the year.

Longer highway trips reward a car that is comfortable and efficient. A standard or premium sedan, such as a Honda Civic, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Sonata or Honda Accord, handles I-95 miles well. If you want airport riders with luggage or groups, look at the SUV and XL class, like the 7-seat Kia Carnival. Each app decides which ride types a car qualifies for, so check its current vehicle rules.

Because you can drive every app at the same time, you can fill quieter hours with DoorDash, Uber Eats or Instacart orders in your own neighborhood instead of waiting for the next ride.
